Cass County, MO issues stay-at-home order

The Cass County Health Department has joined regional efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19.  The Emergency Order will be in place from 12:01 am on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 and expires at 11:59 pm on Friday, April 24, 2020 unless modified.

The order, similar to many other counties, allows individuals to perform essential activities, visit essential businesses, and enjoy the outdoors.  The order includes definitions for these activities and businesses. We understand that this may have an impact on your ability to conduct business.  If you have questions regarding the exemptions, please contact the Cass County Health Department for clarification.

We hope that our residents will continue to support our local businesses.  Grocery stores, pharmacies, healthcare providers, gas stations, hardware stores, and food services (drive thru, curbside, and delivery) will still be open. We’d suggest calling a business in advance of visiting to ensure they are open for business.  We know they would love your support.

The City and the Chamber of Commerce will both be providing information from the Department of Economic Development for programs and loans for small businesses.  We want each of you to be as successful as possible and understand that it is difficult for many of you to navigate through this tough time. We’re here with you and want to support you. To visit the Cass County Health Department click HERE
