Municipal Court Transitioned to Show Me Courts

Posted on Monday September 13, 2021

The Pleasant Hill Municipal Court has officially transitioned to the Show Me Courts system effective September 12, 2021.   Show Me Courts was developed to create a unified system in which all Missouri courts are now required by state statute to implement. Case.net is used to access the Show Me Courts automated system.  From here you are able to inquire about case records including docket entries, parties, judgments and charges in public court.

What does this mean to you?

For attorneys:

You are now able to pay for amendments on Pay by Web through secure case net. We will still accept checks/cash as well.

When everything is scanned, we will require e-filing as in accordance with the State of Missouri.  If you have previously made any filings on the case such as an Entry of Appearance, that information will be transferred over and will be available.

For individuals with out an attorney:

You also have the option to Pay by Web or by cash/check. To Pay by Web:

  • To make a payment on your case you will visit WWW.COURTS.MO.GOV
  • Select Search for a case, and enter your ticket number or name listed on citation.
  •  If you are able to pay your citation without a court appearance, a Plead and Pay button that has your amount due will be present.

As an individual, you will be able to use this site to search your case at any time. It will show all entries made on the case, your court date and time, and any rulings on your case.

As a quick reminder:

  • Court starts at 6:00pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
  • Attorney meetings with the Prosecutor will begin at 4:30pm the day of court.
  • Any request for plea agreements must be emailed to JCover @LauberMunicipal.com.
