The Pleasant Hill Communications Center is staffed by: 
  • Five full-time Communications Officers
Each Communications Officers: 
  • Receives ongoing and specialized training 
  • Obtains certification to use: 
    • Various law enforcement computer databases 
    • Advanced medical dispatch systems 

All calls for service originate at the dispatch center. When you need help from the Police Department, Emergency Medical Service, Fire Department, or Animal Control, the Pleasant Hill Communications' staff are the professionals you will be talking to. 

What We Use 

  • Our Communications Center uses up-to-date Radio and Communication systems. 
  • Sophisticated Computer Systems that include dispatch software and a records management database. This system is used to log and monitor all department activity. 
  • Enhanced 9-1-1 Public Service Answering Point which allows dispatchers to see who is calling and where the call is coming from.
