The mission of the Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of our community by promoting diversified leisure activities and high quality parks and facilities. The City of Pleasant Hill was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Missouri Department of Conservation in 2016 to inventory the trees on the City's properties (parks, right-of-ways, etc.). Click here for the full press release!
The City of Pleasant Hill was awarded the TEAP Study Grant in April 2017 to update the Master Trial/Bikeway Plan. The results of this study can be found here.
The Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Department is funded by a Park levy and Park/Storm Water sales tax.
