Shelby Teufel began serving as City Administrator in July 2018. She previously served as the Assistant City Administrator/Finance Director since 2011. Teufel is active in the Pleasant Hill community, working closely with and serving on boards such as the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, Community Betterment of Pleasant Hill, Bright Futures Pleasant Hill, and the Cass County Coalition of Chambers. Teufel is actively involved in the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) serving on the local annual conference host committee, Missouri City/County Managers Association (MCMA), and has served as the Missouri Chair of the Board of Directors for Midwest Public Risk (MPR), a public entity risk pool of which the City is a member. In 2015, Teufel was awarded the Richard R. Noll Outstanding Assistant Award for Excellence in Leadership by MCMA. Teufel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from William Jewell College and a Master of Public Administration degree from Kansas University. Prior to joining the City of Pleasant Hill, Teufel worked for the cities of Olathe, Kansas and Liberty, Missouri.

Amy Johnson began her career with the City of Pleasant Hill in February 2002. Serving in the City's finance department as an Accountant, she processes accounts payable, requisitions, purchase orders, journal entries and assists in overseeing the City's annual budget. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is currently serving as the Treasurer for the Missouri Government Finance Officers Association. Locally Amy serves as a volunteer for the Cass County Fair.

Stephanie started with the city in October of 2000 as the Collections Clerk. She has worked in many areas of the city doing Loss Control, Special Projects, Public Works, Special Events and Assistant to the Mayor. Stephanie is now involved with marketing for the city, purchasing, special events and communications. Stephanie is also very active in planning the Cass County Fair. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from Missouri Valley College.

Jodie Wasson joined the City of Pleasant Hill in May 1998 as the Assistant to the City Administrator. She served the City until April 2002. In February 2006 Jodie returned to the City after staying home with her son for a period of time and oversees the Human Resources for the City and its employees. Wasson handles the processing of all employment applications and new hires, administers the benefit packages for current employees, completes bi-weekly payroll, organizes the annual Health/Wellness Fair for City employees and oversees the City's compliance with labor laws and the health care reform regulations. Jodie's extensive background in municipal government, her precise attention to detail and organization skills allow her to handle diverse projects for the City. She has been selected as the Employee of the Year on three (3) different occasions based on her service and commitment to our municipal government. She brings to the City a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Southwest Missouri State University (currently MSU) and is a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill. Locally she assists with the Cass County Fair and is a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Jodie is married to Jason and they have two children, Justin and Jessie.
