EVERBRIDGE or Reverse 9-1-1 is designed to notify you via telephone of an emergency or natural disaster. Weather notification is also available through this system.
In the event of an emergency, a geographical area will be chosen by trained professional on which area to contact. The areas chosen are called using 911-reverse phone number calling. If you can call 911, then you can receive a call from this system.
Additionally, you can sign up your cell phone to act in the same way. Use the following form to sign up. It will ask for your address to link it with your home geographical area. If your geographical area is chosen for emergency notification, then the number you register on this site will be called also.
As mentioned, Weather notification is also available. To receive this service, you must register the phone number you want notified. Upon the issuing of a Weather warning by the national weather service, only the area(s) affected will be notified.
