Whether it be leagues, lessons, or leisure; the department strives to make your recreation experiences memorable.

The Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Department is funded by a Park levy and Park/Storm Water sales tax.
The department oversees over 200 acres of park land including:
- Cass County Fairgrounds
- Children's Memorial Park
- City Lake
- City Park
- Goppert Fitness Park (Hickory Hills Subdivision)
- Nature Trail (Stone Creek Subdivision)
- Recreation Complex (Baseball/Softball & Football Fields)
- Rock Island Trail State Park (Katy Trail extension)
- Soccer Complex
- Swimming Pool
- Veterans Memorial
