Rules and Regulations
The following rules and regulations have been adopted by the Park Board and are the most pertinent regulations covered by the lake ordinances. Click

Fishing
Fishing Privileges
- Fishing privileges are open to the public. All persons who are required by state law to obtain a fishing license must do so prior to fishing.
Unlawful Fishing
- It is unlawful to use the following items for fishing purposes at the lake: trot lines, limb lines, throw lines, jug lines, bottle floats, or bank lines.
Protected Limits
- State quantity limits do apply on all fish.
Other Recreation
Picnic
- Any person picnicking on lake property shall clean up all litter and place it in the appropriate receptacle. All fires shall be kept in the appropriate fire ring, and all embers extinguished before leaving.
Boats and Motor Boats
- Entire Lake is a no wake zone (at the care takers discretion). All Missouri State Water Patrol rules and regulations regarding occupancy and safety devices will be observed.
Wading or Swimming
- Illegal at all times.
Horseback Riding
- Only allowed on the roadways.
Camping
- Overnight camping will be allowed with a permit from the caretaker. See the

Fire Arms & Destruction Of Property
Firearms
- It is unlawful for any person to shoot or discharge any rifle, pistol, or bow and arrow on the lake property at any time. Shotguns will be allowed during duck and goose season, but persons must be permitted on a blind and have hunting license.
Destruction of Property
- It is unlawful to mar, deface, or destroy any city property. This includes trees, shrubs, and bushes.
Noise Curfew
- No loud music or other loud noises will be allowed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Duck Hunting
Duck Blinds
- Five duck blinds will be raffled off annually on the fourth Friday of July. The blinds are open to residents inside the Pleasant Hill city limits first, with leftover spots being available to those who have a Pleasant Hill address. Click
