Please contact Animal Control regarding a lot pet. Pleasant Hill Animal Control keeps a log of missing animals.

Pet Licensing

Residents are required by Chapter 8 of the City Ordinances to annually license dogs and cats living within the City limits. Licensed animals who wear the registration tag on their collar ensure the owner is notified if the animal is impounded.

Proof of current rabies vaccination is required prior to licensing. Proof of multi-year vaccination can be provided until expiration. The City does not provide multi-year licensing.

Animal licenses renew annually on January 1.

Spayed or neutered dogs and cats can be licensed for $6 annually. Unaltered animals can be licensed for $8 annually.
